Apron For Sammi

I made this apron for my granddaughter Samantha’s 19th birthday.

TRASH BAG HOLDER

I don’t have the name of the pattern for this bag holder. My step mother gave me the pattern, It only takes four pieces of material.
One piece used to hold the bags, one for the apron, one for the ruffle on the bottom of the apron and one for the band at the top. I will take step by step pictures on the next one so I will have a record of how to make them.

EASY USEFUL POTHOLDERS

MAKES A NICE GIFT AND VERY EASY TO MAKE

My mother found this video on youtube and passed it on to me. I made a few potholders and I just love them. I slipped a pair of scissors into one of the pockets just to show where it was. The little pockets are great for slipping your hand in making them a little more secure and easy to use.

Apron for Amelia

I thought for christmas this year I would make the girls Aprons. Amelia who is 5 years old now and in kindergarten loves to paint and I found the cutest paint splattered material. I think the apron along with a set of paints, brushes and art paper will make a fun gift.

Sausage Roll Pillow Case

MY PILLOW CASE

For my birthday, my mom came and spent the weekend with me, my daughter and grandkids. She gave each of the two older girls (Samantha & Aspen) a new sewing machine. She showed Aspen how to use the machine and then she showed us how to make this pillow case. It is so easy and fun to make. We had so much fun and it was priceless watching my mom passing down her skills to my grand-daughter.

I found some directions on You Tube and thought I would include them.
